We started TEKES from a desire to slow down. In a world that moves fast, small acts like applying a fragrance or lighting a candle are usually done without a second thought.

Done with intention, they can become a ceremony, a way to connect to yourself, your emotions, and the space around you.

PERFUMER FIRST

We’re an independent house, and we believe the best perfume comes from people who make it on their own terms. So we work with independent perfumers, free to follow their creative instincts and take the time each fragrance needs.

PRODUCTION

Each fragrance is produced in small batches by family owned ateliers in Grasse, France, where mastery of raw materials and the craft of perfumery has passed down for generations.

MATERIALS

We use naturals where they bring depth and life, and safe, modern synthetics to ease the environmental pressure on endangered plants and woods, replace anything once taken from animals, and keep every bottle consistent.

Vegan, cruelty free, and IFRA certified. Free from parabens, phthalates, sulfates, BHT, phenoxyethanol, artificial colorants, and synthetic dyes.

DESIGN

Each perfume is hallmarked with its own initials, drawn in the tradition of classical calligraphy. The fluid lines echo the way fragrance moves through the air, all set against a considered, minimalist presentation. A nod to old world craft, in a new world of perfumery.

The very first samples arrive from Paris. Just numbers on a label, but each one already had a story and a feeling behind it.

A nod to the old craft of calligraphy. Each line and every curve meticulously refined until the initial feels right.
